Yes — every new account starts with a 7-day free trial that unlocks every feature, with no limits on bookings, staff or services. We collect a card up front to make sure billing carries on smoothly when the trial ends, but you won't be charged a penny during the trial and you can cancel any time before day 7.

Everything. Unlimited bookings, services, staff and customers; the online diary; embeddable booking widget; a hosted website on your own subdomain; customer reminders by email; payments via Stripe; analytics; refunds; staff schedules; and ongoing updates. The only thing that costs extra is card processing when a customer pays online.

When a customer books online they pay the price you've set — no surprise customer fees added at checkout. The money goes straight into your own Stripe account (you control your bank details, statements show your business name on the customer's card, and you keep full visibility). One single, all-in card fee of around 2% + 25p is taken from each booking to cover Stripe processing and the platform — no hidden monthly Stripe bill.

Yes — and it's per-service, not all-or-nothing. For each service you can choose: no payment up front, a fixed deposit (e.g. £10), a percentage deposit (e.g. 30%), or full payment at the time of booking. The remainder is then collected at the appointment if you want.

You do, from your dashboard — refunds are one click and the money flows back from your Stripe balance to the customer's card. Because payments land in your own Stripe account, you also handle any disputed charges directly with Stripe, the same as if you took the card in person. We don't sit in the middle of your customers' money.

Yes — every account gets a hosted booking site on a free Velixa subdomain (e.g. yourbusiness.Velixa.co.uk), with your branding, services, opening hours, gallery and 'Book Now' button built in. You can also point your own domain at it later, or just use the embeddable booking widget on a website you already have.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the UK, and we never sell or share your customer information. You're the data controller for your customer list, we're the processor — and you can export or delete data on request to stay GDPR-compliant. Card details never touch our servers; they're handled by Stripe directly with full PCI-DSS compliance.

Velixa is a one-off £19.95 setup fee, then £4.95 per month after your free trial. That single price includes every feature and unlimited team members — there's no upsell tier and no per-staff or per-booking charge. Card processing fees apply on top when you take online payments (see below).

Yes. Cancel from your billing portal in one click and you won't be charged again. Your data stays in the platform for 30 days afterwards in case you want to come back, and you can export your customer list and bookings to CSV at any time.

Stripe pays out to your bank account on its standard rolling schedule — typically every 2 working days for UK businesses, with the first payout taking around 7 days while Stripe completes verification. You can see every upcoming and past payout from inside your dashboard, and switch the payout schedule (daily / weekly / monthly) directly with Stripe.

Yes. In your settings you can choose 'Pay online when booking', 'Pay in person at the appointment', or 'Let the customer choose'. If a service has a deposit or full-payment requirement, that always overrides the global setting so deposits are still collected up front.

No. There are no caps on bookings, services, staff members or customers, and no charge for adding more team logins. Use the platform as much as your business needs.

Absolutely. Copy and paste a single line of code and your existing site gains a 'Book Now' widget that shows your live availability and accepts online payments — no plugins, no developer needed. Works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and plain HTML.
